Web parts now use your SharePoint theme colours unless you pick your own.
New
Web parts take their colours from your site’s SharePoint theme until you pick a colour. They also follow section backgrounds and Teams themes.

A Reset colours to theme button in the settings pane clears the colours you picked.

Colour pickers show the theme colour in use, without saving it to the web part.
Clearer Back and Delete buttons when you edit an item in the settings pane.
Fixed
The tag hover font colour you pick is now applied.

When you upgrade
- Colours left at the old default values switch to your theme colours. Colours you picked are kept.
- The Use SharePoint theme colours setting is removed. Where it was on, the web part now uses your theme colours.
